Wool Certifications
NATIVA™ Certification by Chargeurs
Launched in 2018, the NATIVA™ certification was adopted by Lanas Trinidad to uphold social, animal, and environmental responsibility in wool production.
Producers are annually audited to verify their adherence to the NATIVA protocol, which ensures environmentally friendly production practices, soil health preservation, animal welfare, and fair labor practices. This certification supports transparency, traceability, and sustainability in the global wool industry.

RWS Certification (Responsible Wool Standard) by Textile Exchange
Lanas Trinidad became the first textile company in Uruguay to join the RWS certification in 2017. This voluntary standard requires certification across the entire supply chain, from wool producers to commercial companies. Annual audits ensure compliance with the RWS standards, which evaluate social, animal welfare, and land management practices. These audits facilitate continuous improvement and foster close communication with producers.
GOTS and IVN Best Certifications by Control Union
Lanas Trinidad works with producers committed to organic production. Wool from these producers is 100% organic and produced through socially responsible and environmentally sustainable practices, adhering to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and IVN Best standards. These certifications ensure that the wool is produced in compliance with stringent organic and sustainability criteria.
Lanas Trinidad's certifications reflect its dedication to high standards in quality, sustainability, and ethical practices across the entire wool production process.
